DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The new year is starting with what’s old for the senior living community of Kings Point in Delray Beach. Just hours into 2025 we have the arrest of Alan Moore. His arrest — according to BocaNewsNow.com records — marks the 51st arrest of a Kings Point resident since the start of 2023, the 31st since the start of 2024, and the first arrest for the community in 2025.

Moore, according to court records, got himself into trouble in November when he was allegedly driving without a valid drivers license. A judge told sentenced him to 30 days in jail, but only ten if he came to court on January 3rd and didn’t require PBSO to seek him out. It appears that Moore complied, showed up in court, and was sentenced to jail. That’s where he is early Monday morning.

A PBSO Deputy stopped Moore in the area of Linton Boulevard and SW 10th Avenue — just east of I-95 — on November 11th at 10:45 in the morning. Moore was driving a 2016 Toyota four door vehicle at the time of the stop. He was officially cited for driving while license suspended. Moore calls the 300 block units of Normandy in Kings Point home.

Moore joins the growing list of Kings Point Delray Beach residents arrested and held in the Palm Beach County Jail. Among the alleged crimes committed by residents over the past two years: sexual assault, drug crimes, weapons crimes, domestic assault crimes, DUI, downloading illegal images of children, and more. At least 50 Kings Point resident arrests have been logged since the start of 2023. BocaNewsNow.com’s internal yet unofficial records suggest that no other senior living community in South Palm Beach County has had more residents arrested than Kings Point.
