DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Police in Delray Beach are investigating a burned body found in a storage closet early Friday morning. Police shared this information with BocaNewsNow.com:

“At 6 a.m., Delray Beach Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at 1005 S. Congress Ave. During the response, a deceased person was discovered burned in a storage closet from a business (Storage Plus Income Tax). The Delray Beach Police Department is conducting a death investigation.”

There was no immediate word as to the age or sex of the victim. The location is just west of I-95 and south of Atlantic Avenue. Florida’s Secretary of State’s online database did not show records for the business.
