BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Raton man is dead and his wife is charged with murder after she allegedly stabbed him during an argument. Terry Taylor of Jaywood Terrace is in the Palm Beach County Jail. The Boca Raton Police Department issued this statement to BocaNewsNow.com:

“Yesterday morning, around 10:30 a.m., Boca Raton Fire Rescue and Boca Raton Police responded to a medical emergency along the 3300 block of Jaywood Terrace. 58-year-old Terry Taylor knocked on a neighbor’s door and asked him to call police because her husband, Stanley Taylor, had fallen on a knife. Stanley was found inside the residence suffering from a wound to his torso. He was transported to an area hospital and while receiving medical treatment, he stated his wife stabbed him and tried to kill him.

Boca Raton Police detectives responded to the scene to further investigate. During questioning, Terry said that she and Stanley engaged in a physical altercation during an argument. At one point, she explained they were both struggling over a wooden cane, so she reached for a separate cane nearby and “went at him with it. ” Furthermore, in describing the cane she had grabbed, it was identified as an illegal brass cane with a sharp point on the tip.

She advised she may have caused his injury by striking him with the cane. After obtaining a search warrant for the apartment, a detailed examination of the brass cane led to the discovery that the grip could be unscrewed from the shaft, revealing an attachment to a blade. It was apparent that the blade had been wiped.

During the course of this investigation, Stanley succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. As a result, Terry Taylor was charged with Second-Degree Murder in the killing of Stanley Taylor and was transported to the Palm Beach County Jail.”
