Victims Returned Home From Casino Visit.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The search is on for suspects Saturday after an early morning armed robbery in East Boca Raton. Police say gunman allegedly stole roughly $250,000 worth of cash and other items from the victims outside their home. Here is the official statement issued by Boca Raton PD mid-morning Saturday:
>>>Just after midnight Saturday, Boca Raton Police responded to a report of an armed robbery outside of a residence on the 600 block of NE 29th Place. The two victims told investigators that three armed suspects approached them on foot from behind nearby bushes as they were getting out of their car in front of their residence, having just returned from a nearby casino, pointing firearms at them.
Two of the suspects then forcibly took nearly $250,000 worth of watches, cash, phones and a purse from the victims. Two of the suspects then entered the victims’ vehicle and removed a gun from the center console, after attempting to steal the vehicle. The suspects then fled the scene westbound to an unknown vehicle. Though the victims’ phones have since been recovered, they were heavily damaged, as they were reportedly found in the middle of a roadway.
The suspects are described as black males, approximately in their 20’s, last seen wearing dark clothing and masks. Investigators are seeking footage of this reported incident. Anyone who lives in the area is urged to review footage from their exterior home cameras. If you have information or video footage available in reference to this ongoing investigation, please contact Detective Alfredo Lima at (561)620- 6246.<<<

There is much more to this story! Maybe the robbery was pre-planned? What normal people
travel around with $250 thousand dollars worth
Of goods? Could be an insurance fraud claim!
Needs a thorough investigation!
I don’t think BocaRaton is any safer than anywhere else in Florida. There have been a lot of bad characters that have been robbed and other crimes in this area that live in Boca. You have to be careful, especially if you have a lot of cash, or jewelry on you. Hopefully they will locate these criminals and they will go to jail.
Robbers could be from Dade or Broward County again! Easy to head west and jump on I95. The address sounds like it’s near the beach. And an address, where people having $250K worth of goods, would be highly likely and reasonable..
This story makes no sense. It sounds way too orchestrated. Looks like insurance fraud.
Maybe the robbers worked at the casino, saw the money and possessions the victims had, and followed them back?
