BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Raton man is facing a battery charge following his arrest Tuesday by the Boynton Beach Police Department. Austin James Badder is charged with Battery on a person 65 years of age or older. Bond had not been set as of mid-morning Wednesday.

It was not immediately clear who Badder is accused of battering and whether or not he is related to the alleged victim. The arrest report continues to be processed by the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts. We don’t know what led police to Badder or the condition of the alleged victim.

Austin Badder, 35, has no criminal history in Palm Beach County, according to the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts. He lives in the 9000 block of SW 5th Street in Boca Raton. He was booked into jail at 4:19 p.m. on Tuesday.
