Palm Beach County Clerk Of Courts Announces Annual Program. Get Back On The Road Without Collection Agency Fees…
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you have a suspended license, overdue tickets, of other court fines in Palm Beach County, take a breath. You’ll be able to pay without collection fees during “Operation Green Light” which starts on March 3rd. The program runs through March 7th. This longstanding annual program allows anyone with a suspended driver license an opportunity to pay their overdue tickets, court fines and fees and get back on the road.
“Operation Green Light provides an opportunity for individuals who want to do the right thing and pay off their fines and other court costs but may need a little help,” said Joseph Abruzzo, Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller for Palm Beach County. “By waiving collection agency fees during Operation Green Light, our office and Clerk’s offices throughout Florida allow anyone with an overdue ticket to save money, reinstate their license and drive legally again.”
Participants in Operation Green Light can pay online, in-person or by phone. In many traffic cases, driver’s licenses can be reinstated on the same day fines are paid. For those unable to pay in full, the Clerk’s office can establish payment plans with set monthly payments.
Florida law requires the Clerk’s office to turn over unpaid tickets and other outstanding court fines and fees to an outside collection agency if the debt is not paid within 90 days of the due date. Those who don’t pay also have their driver’s license suspended.
Clerk Abruzzo is joining with other Clerk’s offices throughout Florida to host an Operation Green Light event. Operation Green Light originated in Palm Beach County in November 2014 before expanding statewide.
