A Boynton Beach man was killed on an electric bike Wednesday night.

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boynton Beach man is dead following a late night car versus e-bike crash on Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach. The Boynton Beach Police Department issued this statement to BocaNewsNow.com about the death of Vincent Menniti:

>>Boynton Beach Police responded to a vehicle versus bicycle traffic crash around 10 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, near the 300 block of North Congress Avenue, that resulted in the death of 43-year-old Vincent Menniti.

The preliminary investigation reveals that the vehicle was traveling south on North Congress Avenue, just north of Boynton Beach Boulevard, as Menniti traveled north in the southbound lanes on Congress Avenue on an electric bike. The vehicle’s front bumper impacted the electric bike. Menniti was transported to Delray Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing.<<

Records show that Menniti worked in the financial services industry and had recently lived in a community near West Boynton Beach Boulevard and Jog Road.
