BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The National Weather Service Sunday afternoon issued a “fire weather watch” for much of South Florida. This is the second time a “fire weather watch” has been issued in just days. Hours before the last watch went into effect, much of South Palm Beach County was inundated with a smoke smell that was ultimately determined to be blowing smoke from fires in the Everglades.
