BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Boca Raton Fire Rescue is on the scene Wednesday night of a fire in the kitchen at the Hyatt Place at 100 East Palmetto Park Road. The fire is also in the building the houses Louie Bossi — a popular Italian restaurant.

First arriving firefighters around 8 p.m. saw what witnesses reporting to BocaNewsNow.com saw: thick black smoke rising from the building. Boca Raton Fire Rescue immediately started a fire attack. The fire was apparently under control a short time later, but the restaurant and hotel are being checked for safety.

There are no immediate reports of injuries. There are evacuations from both the restaurant and the hotel. Expect significant traffic issues in the area.
