The kitchen fire in Louie Bossi — located in the same building as the Hyatt Place Hotel — led to evacuations. Assistant Fire Chief Michael LaSalle provided this rundown to BocaNewsNow.com:

”At 7:52 p.m., Boca Raton dispatch received calls for a possible structure fire at 100 E Palmetto Park Road (Hyatt Place). Boca Fire Rescue responded immediately and confirmed heavy smoke in the building. The fire originated in the attached restaurant Louie Bossi.”
