The kitchen fire in Louie Bossi — located in the same building as the Hyatt Place Hotel — led to evacuations. Assistant Fire Chief Michael LaSalle provided this rundown to BocaNewsNow.com:
”At 7:52 p.m., Boca Raton dispatch received calls for a possible structure fire at 100 E Palmetto Park Road (Hyatt Place). Boca Fire Rescue responded immediately and confirmed heavy smoke in the building. The fire originated in the attached restaurant Louie Bossi.”

”Crews searched the floors above the restaurant at the hotel and isolated the fire to the restaurant. The fire was put out by crews shortly after. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The restaurant and surrounding occupancies were evacuated and no injuries were reported.”
