OFFICIAL REPORT: V-1 was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed southbound within the inner through lane of South Military Trail approaching the entrance to the Polo Club Shops.
V-2 was traveling northbound within the left turn lane for the Polo Club Shops, and was in the process of turning left into the Polo Club Shops, and had entered into the inner through lane for southbound South Military Trail.
V-1’s front impacted the passenger side of V-2 causing significant damage to the occupant compartment of V-2.
During the impact both V-1 and V-2 were redirected off the road to the southwest. V-2 impacted a concrete utility pole before coming to a final rest. V-1 came to a final rest south of V-2, against the shrub line, where the engine compartment began to be engulfed by fire.
All occupants of V-2 were pronounced deceased in V-2 at the scene. Both occupants of V-1 were transported to Delray Medical Center with serious injuries. <<
