Two Dead In Early Morning Palm Beach County Incident Involving Sword.

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Two people are dead and a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Deputy is on paid administrative leave following a stabbing and a shooting. The official PBSO statement provided to BocaNewsNow.com explains what happened:
>> On April 26, 2025, shortly after 3:00 a.m., deputies responded to an armed domestic violence incident in the 6400 block of Emerald Dunes Drive, West Palm Beach. Upon arrival, deputies learned that an armed confrontation is occurring between two adult family members inside the residence. As deputies entered the home, they encountered a male actively stabbing another adult male with a sword.
Deputies issued verbal commands for the suspect to drop the weapon; however, the suspect failed to comply, resulting in a deputy discharging his firearm, striking the suspect. Deputies immediately rendered medical aid to both the victim and the suspect. Despite these efforts, both individuals succumbed to their injuries.
In accordance with standard department protocol, the involved deputy has been placed on administrative leave with pay. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Division, the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are actively investigating this incident. <<
