Boca Restaurant Owner Louis Bossi Sued By Bank Of America

Restaurant owner Louie Bossi is facing a suit over an allegedly unpaid Bank of America credit card.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Louis Bossi, owner of popular Italian eatery Louie Bossi at 100 East Palmetto Park Road, is facing a lawsuit filed by Bank of America. BOA claims that Bossi has paid his credit card bill since 2024.

According to complaint filed in Palm Beach County Civil Court and obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, Bossi owes $14,628. The Canyon Isles resident, according to the suit, was told to pay up but hasn’t. According to lawyers representing Bank of America:

“Plaintiff and Defendants) entered into an Agreement for the subject account. Defendant(s) LOUIS J BOSSI, by use of the credit card accepted the terms and conditions of the Agreement, which is attached hereto. That Defendants) has breached the Agreement by failing to comply with the terms of the Agreement, specifically by failing to make timely payments when due. Defendant(s) owes Plaintiff $14,628.20, which includes any applicable payments and credits. Plaintiff has made demand on Defendant(s) for payment. Defendant(s) have/has failed and refused to pay the sum due and owing Plaintiff..”

The suit was filed just weeks after a kitchen fire at Louie Bossi led to the restaurant’s evacuation and the evacuation of the Hyatt Place hotel over the restaurant.

Bank of America is represented by Attorney Dana Stren at Hayt, Hayt and Landau of Miami. Counsel for Louis Bossi had not been recorded by the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts as of 6 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2025. Louie Bossi restaurants are located in Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale.

  1. Bk of America should be more compassionate regarding the company’s situation regarding the fire. Bk of America is losing more and more customers every day due to their lack of empathy toward their customers. They keep this law company on retainer and must get their money’s worth, so why not sue, sue, sue. Terrible and most difficult bank to deal with.
