Andrew Maron Sentenced After Boca Raton Road Rage Incident.

Jailed
A New York Dentist who lost his license for allegedly pulling teeth that didn’t need to be pulled is now in the Palm Beach County Jail, following a guilty plea to a Boca Raton road rage incident.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Andrew Maron, a one-time dentist who lost his license for allegedly pulling teeth of people who didn’t need to have teeth pulled, is now chomping on a six month sentence in the Palm Beach County Jail. Maron, 63. who lives on Montova Bay Circle in West Boynton Beach’s Canyon Isles, was just taken into custody to serve his sentence. He’ll be locked up until November, then will spend several years on probation.

Andrew Maron was first arrested back in January of 2024 after police say he cut off a driver near the area of U.S. 441 and Glades Road. Maron exited his Porsche and — according to an arrest report — engaged in an altercation during which he placed his hands around the neck of the other driver. That driver’s car recorded the entire event which was reviewed by police. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office arrested Maron and charged him with burglary with assault and battery, battery, leaving the scene of an accident, and more. He ultimately entered a guilty plea to “burglary with assault and battery” charged and asked for probation, stating this:

”The defendant requires specialized treatment for a mental disorder that is unrelated to substance abuse or addiction … and the defendant is amenable to treatment. (The defendant has been diagnosed with bi-polar and related disorders as well as PTSD, all of which require specialized treatment and for which the defendant is amenable to treatment.) The offense was committed in an unsophisticated manner and was an isolated incident for which the defendant has shown remorse. (Isolated road rage incident and no weapon was used or exhibited.) The need for payment of restitution to the victim outweighs the need for a prison sentence.”

A judge disagreed and sentenced him to six months of jail and four years of probation. Maron’s previous life was the focus of reporting by the New York Post back in 2019 — before this incident took place.
