BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Head’s up if you’re planning to drive on I-95 Sunday night and exit in Boca Raton. The I-95 southbound ramp to Palmetto Park Road is going to be closed by the Florida Department of Transportation. Here’s the official announcement:

“The SR 9/I-95 southbound exit ramp to Palmetto Park Road will be closed to traffic nightly, as needed, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., on Sunday, May 18, for milling and resurfacing operations. Monday night, May 19, will be reserved as a contingency date. Traffic will be detoured via SR 9/I-95 southbound, SR 810/Hillsboro Boulevard, northbound SR 9/I-95, and Palmetto Park Road. Signage will be in place to assist motorists.”

We note that additional nights may be added to the closure if needed. We will publish our full traffic preview from FDOT and Palm Beach County on Sunday.
