We Memorialize The Rude People With Pets And Parking Problems In Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and Beyond…

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — It’s Memorial Day weekend — the perfect time to memorialize the rude people living and visiting South Palm Beach County. The people who bring their dogs where they shouldn’t be, and park their cars in places that aren’t necessarily designed for parking. Let’s get this holiday edition started…

We start at Bagel Twins, 5130 Linton Boulevard in Delray Beach. That’s where, yet again, we find someone with a dog. Dogs are not allowed in restaurants, unless it is truly a trained service animal with lifesaving capabilities. Maybe the large rat-like-dog above really is a lifesaving animal, or maybe it’s just a pet on a leash on the floor of a restaurant where food is served to patrons who expect a clean environment. We have idea if the dog’s human got to enjoy his pink lemonade, or if he spent all of his time trying to control fluffy-wuffy.

Let’s head over to Whole Foods on Glades Road near I-95 where this woman inexplicably has brought her dog inside a supermarket where dogs are expressly prohibited. We don’t know why the dog is there, we don’t know why it’s in the flower department, but we certainly appreciate the irony of the woman holding the dog in front of a sign that says “improving lives.” This woman, who shouldn’t have her dog in a supermarket, isn’t improving anyone’s life. Unclear if Whole Foods decided to follow statutes and codes and kick her out.

It seems the Whole Foods at 1400 Glades Road has a dog problem. The woman, above, was also seen in the same store by another shopper. This woman is actually walking her dog in the store. Again, that seems to violate state and federal statutes. You can’t have a dog in a supermarket unless it’s a trained service animal that provides a lifesaving function. We remind you that emotional support animals are not real, and are not classified as “service” animals. Although we do agree with many of our readers that anyone who needs to bring their pet into a supermarket likely does need help.

Now for the grossest part of today’s Boca Rudeton. This is a shopping cart at Publix at Linton and Federal Highway in Delray Beach. Yes, that’s poop IN the shopping cart and on the floor. We don’t know who the human is that let his or her dog leave that behind, be we certainly know that it’s one of the reasons that Publix makes it clear: no pets are allowed inside.

Raw Juice on Federal Highway in Boca Raton is our next stop, where these women are so self-absorbed and selfish that not only are they bringing dogs in a restaurant where they do not belong, but one doesn’t even bother holding the leash! We don’t know about you, but we would not suggest that anyone buy food in a restaurant that permits this sort of customer behavior. We look forward to the next health inspection released about Raw Juice.

To Paris Baguette at 1911 South Federal where you may never, ever want table service. Our tipster snapped the photo, above, of the man with his dog ON the table. It’s a special kind of self-absorption to think that it’s okay to not only bring your dog into a restaurant where it shouldn’t be, but to put the dog on the table where normal people eat food. We also find it astonishing that Paris Baguette employees apparently did nothing to stop this man from putting his dog on the table. (Have we said “dog on the table at Paris Baguette” enough? Let’s do it one more time. This man had a DOG ON THE TABLE AT PARIS BAGUETTE at 1911 South Federal Highway In Delray Beach).

Let’s make a quick stop at Target on Hagen Ranch Road in Boynton Beach. That’s where our tipster saw this man with his dog roaming the aisles. Again, maybe the dog is a highly-trained dog that performs lifesaving activities. Or, maybe it’s a pet in Target. If it’s the latter, we note that it shouldn’t be there.

And we’ll wrap up this Memorial Day Weekend edition of Boca Rudeton with some parking shots. This is at Aldi near U.S. 441/SR 7 and Palmetto Park Road in Bcoa Raton. Yes, the Toyota with Florida plate IRA-N65 is taking two spots. No, we don’t know why.

We also don’t know why the driver of the White Mercedes can’t seem to park straight at Glades Plaza. We thank our tipster for sending us a front and back shot of the vehicle, with Florida plate BK-12. We note the license plate border that says “I’d Rather Be Flying.” We’ll just let that sink in.
So who is our Boca Rudeton™ winner for Memorial Day weekend? There’s a lot of competition, but the winner this week has to be the guy with his dog on the table at Paris Baguette. We don’t know what he was thinking or what restaurant employees were thinking when they apparently saw the dog on the table and felt it was perfectly fine. It’s not. Our regular readers know we don’t give prizes, but if we did, this man would win a one-way ticket to Paris on an all-coach airline so that he can enjoy a “Paris Baguette” with his dog on the table in a place nowhere near South Palm Beach County where normal people prefer to eat on tables that haven’t been walked on, or licked, or defecated on by dogs.
We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send your submissions to us using the menu buttons above. Share your thoughts about this week’s Boca Rudeton n our comment section, below. Boca Rudeton™ is a trademark of MetroDesk Media, LLC. Keep up the good work. Perhaps they won’t feel so entitled next time. The stores need to do a better job but I stay away from the businesses you post about the absurd incidents. Wake up people, it’s not all about you!
Here in Ocala I see full size cars and trucks parked in spaces marked for golf carts.
As I read your articles every week about the rude entitled residents of Florida, bringing their animals into stores i’m asking where are the store managers? Where is the health department? Where is the county in all of this? That’s my question.
Thank you
Susan, the Dept. of Agriculture is who I contacted when a man with a dog in his arms was hovering over the hot bar at Whole Foods in Wellington. He was letting the dog sniff the food on his serving spoon. They opened an investigation and in the end, they just told me the store manager was aware of the situation. That’s it! What a bunch of BS.
I agree with you. Where is the Health Department? Maybe if these establishments start getting fined, they’ll wake up and enforce the laws
For the life of me I can’t figure out why people are so inconsiderate. It’s entitlement to its extreme These dogs are not service animals. Total BS with the emotional support scenario. See this nonsense on airplanes too.
Wow….it has gotten bad in Boca. I haven’t been grocery shopping in ages, but If I did and saw poop on the floor, I would certainly ask for the manager. Also, I’d take pictures of it and send it to the health dept. It is like no one cares. Not in these eating establishments anyway. My community where I Iive is strict about pets and the poop they can produce. It is gross to think pets are craping in carts and floors. Boca has alot of problems with this.
These people in boca do t follow rules they think there above all rules there should be a fine for bringing dogs who in there right mind brings a dog into a restaurant it doesn’t suprise me since I know where they come from no class
You people are crazy. You admit you don’t know the circumstances, but you publish photos suggesting people are doing something “wrong” when you have no idea. Reckless journalism. Also, reeks of a vendetta. Many societies love dogs. Many people do. But you’ve made this your mission. Your approach is terrible, your focus unneeded, your judgment not warranted. Go away. Find something useful to do with yourself.
Circumstances are simple: Dogs are not allowed in restaurants or grocery stores by State law. These pictures are evidence that these people ignored that law. Ignoring the law is wrong.
Bona-fide service animals don’t urinate and defecate on grocery store floors. Of you think this is acceptable there is something wrong with you. Oh, and I love animals so much that I give up my weekends to transport them to safety. How about you? What’s your contribution?
What an idiotic post. It seems maybe you were the subject of one of these? I love dogs and have had MANY, but they don’t belong in food establishments (unless properly certified). And the mere fact that you’re questioning whether the dog on the table or the dog that took a dump in the cart is “wrong” shows your intelligence level…
You are one ? person. You better be a little bit more judgmental. You are probably one of the people that has done this several times in several different places.
Your mentality seriously needs to be looked at. This is beyond ridiculous and unacceptable bringing pets into stores go get some help before it’s too late.
You have totally lost your marbles. If you can explain to me how having a dog in a restaurant or food store is ok please hit me with it. My wife and I have been dog owners for over 22 years and yes the lastest one is an emotional support animal, However , you will never see our Cocker Spaniel in any establishment that involves food, or shopping. My 20 years in Boca / Delray I have seen some of the rudest stuff come from locals. Don’t even get me started on the idiot snowbirds. Dogs in shopping carts, handbags, baby strollers, carried in there arms, t the local parks with no lease (my favorite), oh he’s friendly, doesn’t matter we have a lease law. DOGS RESTAURANTS IS A HARD NO. So please, save your woke feelings for your voting, keep your dogs in check.
Dear Non-judgmental= why be so rude to have to make other people have to respond and inform you, on the proper etiquette like sharing with you how to raise your dog or children? People should not leave there St Bernard drool on on the stainless steel counter at “Trader Joe’s “are not actual Service Animals?? Look you should order delivery service! Spare us you & your dogs stupidity, as neither have been properly trained!! AND THATS THE TRUTH!!
The proof is in the pudding! I love dogs, but wouldn’t want them on a table where I could possibly eat or pooping in the grocery store aisles. Stop making excuses for bad behavior and rule breakers.
Maybe you are one of those people that let their dogs shit on other people’s lawns and then don’t clean up the mess.
Where are the store managers and also the customers? How is it possible not to express your condemnation for such crass behavior and huge entitlement? Shame them and put them in their place outside the store with their dogs. So what if the store may loose a customer but with such contempt for the laws and rules they may loose more than dig owners.
We have an medical office in Stuart and have clearly displayed signage “patient parking only”. Our office manager has to play parking lot attendent. One day a man roughly 65/70 yo was asked politely if he would move his vehicle which he did. Next thing this individual does is come into the office, marches past the receptionist area, goes down the corridor where I was addressing a patient and tells me I had no right to tell him to move his car. I simply explained to him if he did not want to be prosecuted for criminal trespass he should leave immediately.
How can people feel so entited?
I worked 5 years at that Whole Foods. Here’s the deal with animals: Whole Foods has a policy against pets, but not against Service Animals. Problem is, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) restricts what we as employees can ask a person in regards to service animals. There’s no law or regulation on licensing, proof of licensing, and restrictions on the sale of vests, etc.
Simple fact is, all we can legally ask is if that animal is or is not a service animal. We cannot ask what service they perform, and as I stated, there’s no actual “proof” for us to demand to see, and you can go online and print out a phony “certificate” anyway. These pet owners know and abuse this loophole and unfortunately our hands are tied. Five dog is unruly, yes, we cannot ask remove them, but outside of that, not much we can do.
I’ve strongly advocated a federal amendment to the ADA to regulate service animals, licensing, and items associated to one, curtail this abuse, but also to protect actual service animals from wrong assumptions by the public.
People who have nothing else to do but take pictures of parked cars and pick on people who’s pet maybe all they have in their lives need to find a hobby .
Sorry Keith. I love dogs as much as the next person but they do NOT belong in a place that sell grocery items that I buy and eat. And also they don’t belong in a shopping mall where dogs can pee or poop anywhere they want.
Please grow up if you need some type of therapy use a blanket not a dog.
Leave your nasty dogs at home and while you’re at it stay home with them. They don’t belong anywhere else but at the dog park. We don’t love your damn animals. Is it that difficult to understand?
Someone needs to photo people at Town Center Mall. Having dogs poop or pee in the mall is just as disgusting.
If i saw someones dog do such a nasty thing
As poop in a store . i’d request they pick it up. I would pick it up and smear it on them . I would embarrass that man with the dog on the table if possible . I might remove his food to the floor and tell him he and his dog belong on the floor ty for bringing the floor to the table saying some not so lady like words
I love the pics/comments. TBH it makes it easier to deal with these entitled people knowing their pic can be posted. I just hope no one has allergies and has a bad reaction because someone couldn’t leave their dog at home when they went shopping.
What kind of subterranean cretin one must be to actually write such a article and the website to post it isn’t much better. I knew Boca is a bunch of stuck up old snobs but I didn’t know the snobs would turn against each other.
I have no issue with real service animals – for blind, deaf, & for lifesaving illnesses. I wish that dog owners out there who ignore the rules would think about those who are highly allergic & could require medical attention when exposed to pet dander. Restaurants should never allow animals on chairs & tables. Grocery should not allow in carts. And if you are allowing a pet into your store, such as Publix does, or your restaurant then you have a responsibility to your allergic customers to clean everything properly. True service animals are not sitting in carts or on tables & chairs in restaurants. They are well behaved animals whose concern is their owner & not getting a bagel at Bagel Twin.
