DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE TASK FORCE TO COMBAT ANTISEMITISM NOTIFIED.
Champion Porsche Co-Owner Called Boca Raton Resident “Spoiled Jew C-nt.” In Writing.

BY: ANDREW COLTON | Editor and Publisher | BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A major New York law firm is taking action against Champion Porsche in Pompano Beach, just weeks after BocaNewsNow.com first reported on the Antisemitic text message sent by co-owner Naveen Maraj. The Department of Justice Task Force to Combat Antisemitism has also been notified.
As we were first to report, Maraj sent the text to Jonathan Wolff after Wolff decided to purchase a custom vehicle from Braman Porsche in West Palm Beach. Wolff said he went to Braman after it took too long for Champion to respond to an inquiry.

In a statement to BocaNewsNow.com, Champion Porsche claimed that while inappropriate, Maraj and Wolff were “friends” and that the text message was more or less okay when taken in context. Even so, Maraj announced that he was leaving day-to-day operations of the dealership which is registered in his name with the State of Florida.
Wolff, however, says he and Maraj are not “friends” and hadn’t communicated in six years prior to his request for information about a possible Porsche purchase. Dissatisfied with Champion’s response to the Antisemitic text, Wolff is now working with attorneys from noted New York law firm Susman Godfrey. Attorney Steven Sheperd put Champion on notice Wednesday, warning General Manager Michael Peters, Jr., that action is pending and that the Department of Justice has been notified. The DOJ launched its Antisemitism task force earlier this year.
“Given the seriousness of this conduct, and its implications for the public interest, my client is compelled to bring both the May 10 text message, and the May 15 statement, to the attention of the Department of Justice’s Task Force to Combat Antisemitism,” wrote Attorney Shepard. “Accordingly, Mr. Wolff demands two public apologies: One for Mr. Maraj’s May 10 text message, and another for Champion Porsche’s false and defamatory statement of May 15, which must include a full retraction of all claims made about Mr. Wolff. …In the interim, you and Champion Porsche are instructed to preserve all documents and communications concerning Mr. Maraj, Mr. Wolff, and any matter relating in any way to the Jewish people or the Jewish faith.”
A woman claiming to be Mr. Maraj’s wife posted this statement to BocaNewsNow.com shortly after the initial story broke: “We hear you. The comment was wrong. We’re taking accountability and learning antisemitism has no place in our values.”

I hope they o out of business and lose millions in a lawsuit – SICK
Totally unacceptable.
Very awful words in the message. I will say that it does appear to be taken out of context. Not justified or excusable anyway but there would seem to be provocation of some sort. Again, not excusable regardless of provocation.
What context are you imagining? One from the last century?
Good.. Hope they’re punished severely. I’m not Jewish but reading what happened sickened me..
Why has Porsche not responded? Clearly they should reply or is their silence significant?
One starts the motion and then it continues and no one stops it. As it keeps going it gets worse. It’s obvious that the person who wrote this note is an insuIt to women and I am sure he has a line of disrespect.
This is all going down because the colleges didn’t do the right thing.
Mike Peters also need to go after his awful explanation that “they were friends”!!
This is totally disgusting and unacceptable. I hope Mr. Wolff gets more than an apology. NO ONE should ever be spoken to like that whether verbally or in a text. Mr. Maraj should not have a business at all that deals with the public and I really hope the DOJ Task Force does not give him any sympathy. Mr. Maraj is nothing but a bully and needs to be punished for these horrible statements he made. Mr. Maraj also needs to lose his rights to Champion Porsche and any kind of dealer licensing he has. HORRIBLE MAN.
Why has Porsche the manufacture in Germany not pulled champions rights to sell the brand?
Porsche should find another dealer to sell to instead of these antisemites
Mr. Maraj should be forced to sell his dealership at a loss. Porsche should completely cut ties with this dealership and Mr. Maraj should make a hefty donation to the ADL, which he can obviously afford.
I worked there and employee abuse was rampant after the dealer was purchased. You didn’t post my previous post. You think it’s bad as a customer, you should have been an ex-employee!
