Husband Of Ex-Whispering Pines Elementary Principal Accused Of Molesting Children.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Barring an unexpected or unscheduled order by a judge, Palm Beach County School District teacher Norman Riemer will remain in the Palm Beach County Jail until at least September on molestation charges. A judge Friday morning continued the case until September 17th.
Riemer, husband of now ex-Whispering Pines Elementary School Principal Barbara Riemer, was arrested in May and charged with multiple counts of molesting children in who regularly visited the Lake Worth home he shares with his wife. The young girls allegedly told investigators that Norman repeatedly had them touch his private part as part of a “science experiment.” Norman Riemer was employed as a science specialist with the school district. A spokesperson several weeks ago said his employment would be terminated.
Norman Riemer was initially charged with five counts of molestation, but prosecutors dropped three. He now faces two counts which carry a potential sentence of life in prison if he is convicted. He remains held without bond. Riemer’s Defense Attorneys, Michelle Suskauer and Tyler DiMaio, declined to comment on Friday’s court action.
Barbara Riemer, the longtime principal of Whispering Pines Elementary School in West Boca raton announced a “leave of absence” shortly after BocaNewsNow.com broke the story of Norman’s arrest. The Palm Beach County School District subsequently announced that she would not return to Whispering Pines. Read our previous coverage here.
