BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Century Village resident Anthony Grillo, 65, is back in the Palm Beach County Jail for at least the fifth time over the past few years. Grillo is being held on $50,000 bond after allegedly chasing two men in a parking lot of Century Village Boca Raton.
Grillo, according to police report obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, chased the men in the Fanshaw parking lot — displaying a 12-inch knife in a threatening manner. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene, found Grillo, and took him into custody.
The incident follows another incident on the same day where Grillo allegedly entered an apartment in Century Village that was not his. A woman says she was in her apartment, with the door unlocked, when Grillo entered and was seemingly intent on burglarizing the unit. The woman’s dog started barking. Grill allegedly said, “it’s a good thing you have a dog.” He then fled.
We have reported on Anthony Grillo’s issues before, including two incidents at the Apple Store in Boca Raton. One including a thrown iPhone, the other involving a belt. Read the stories here.
Grillo is now charged with “assault — aggravated with intent to commit a felony<” and “burglary of an occupied dwelling unarmed.” Each charge led to a $25,000 bond. He remains in the Palm Beach County Jail Wednesday morning following the Saturday arrest. He lists Fanshaw B as his home address.
