DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — For the 74th time since 2023, a resident of the Kings Point senior living community in Delray Beach has been arrested. This time, it’s Maria Toro Casas of Flanders E. She’s not just the 74th arrest since 2023, but the 54th arrest since 2024, and the 24th so far this year.
Toro Casas was booked into jail on Monday and released Tuesday evening — on her birthday — after posting $3,000 bond. The charge: “larceny – retail theft valued at $750 or more (or) coordinate with others.” She’s accused of stealing more than $900 worth of clothing and accessories.
She allegedly took part in — and coordinated — shoplifting in JC Penney in the Boynton Beach Mall. Boynton Beach Police, in a police report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, reveal that the incident was caught on surveillance video.

Maria Torocasas, 63, join scores of other KPCC (Kings Point Country Club Criminal Community) Delray Beach residents who have been booked into jail over the past few years. Among the alleged crimes committed by residents, for which they are sometimes convicted: sex crimes, drug crimes, weapons crimes, battery, possession of illegal images involving children, DUI, and more. Unofficial records maintained by BocaNewsNow.com suggest that there is no other senior living community in South Palm Beach County with more residents jailed over the past several years than Kings Point.
