BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The City of Boca Raton announced at 4 p.m. today that its Fabulous Fourth celebration will start at 8 p.m — 90 minutes later than initially planned. Fireworks are still set for 9:10 p.m.

In a statement issued to BocaNewsNow.com, the City of Boca Raton said the 8 p.m. start time is “weather permitting.” It could be further delayed. City officials are also evaluating whether it is safe for other parts of the celebration to continue as planned.

“For the safety of our band performers, we will make a decision about live music closer to the event start time as weather allows. Light concessions will be available.”

The celebration location is Countess de Hoernle Park, 1000 Spanish River Blvd. Check back for updates.
