DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Delray Beach man allegedly chose not to enjoy his right to remain silent while in the back of a Delray Beach police car. Matthew Rudavsky of Lindell Boulevard instead — according to police — made a series of threats that made his bad situation even worse. It all started with his arrest for allegedly leaving the scene of a crash near Lake Ida Road and NW 46th Avenue. Police caught up with him at the intersection of Montressor Avenue and Chateau Place and arrested him for suspected DUI.

That’s when Rudavsky apparently decided he wanted more charges than just DUI and leaving the scene of a crash. While being transported to the Breath Alcohol Facility in the midst of what records shows is at least his fourth DUI, Rudavsky allegedly made the following threats which we are publishing directly from the police report filed by the arresting officer:

>> At 1700 hours, he stated “I’ll f–k you up.” At 1704 hours, he stated “I will f—ing kill you and I will f—ng strangle you” At 1708 hours, he stated “I m gonna smack you in the fu–ing face.” At 1709 hours he stated “I m gonna elbow you in the face you dumb little bitch.” At 1821 hours, he stated “Lives in Delray and he’s gonna come find us when he gets back.” At 1853 hours, “They’re going to release me on a DUI and I’m gonna come after you.” At 1855 hours, “Get my glasses bro or I m gonna kick your face.” At 1856 hours, he stated “I live in Delray I’ll see you out in the neighborhood.” At 1902 hours, he stated “Get your head ready cause I’m gonna bash it. You ready fat boy I’m gonna head butt you.” At 1904 hours, he stated “Alright, ready to go fight. I might be a little white brat, but I can fight. You wanna fight me.” <<

Rudavsky, listed as an employee of an area Publix, is now facing charges of: “corruption by threat against public official or family,’ “resist/obstruct officer without violence,” “driving while under the influence – 4th or subsequent conviction,” and “leaving the scene of a crash without giving information.” He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail around 7 p.m. on July 6th. He was released on $7,000 bond early Friday morning, according to records reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com.
