Miles Knapp Sold To Undercover Agent In McDonald’s Parking Lot.

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Central Delray Beach man who just entered a guilty plea to selling cocaine from a Tesla in a McDonald’s parking lot is now in the Palm Beach County Jail. Miles Knapp — who lives off Military Trail south of Atlantic Avenue, will be in jail until mid-October. Knapp was arrested in January after selling cocaine to an undercover DEA agent working with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and the Delray Beach police department.
According to an arrest report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, Knapp was the subject of an undercover operation when he sold cocaine from a Tesla to the undercover agent in the parking lot of McDonald’s at 1220 West Linton Boulevard. Here’s what investigators say took place:
“In June of 2024, agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) met with a trusted, reliable DEA confidential source (CS), who identified Miles Eliot KNAPP as a distributor of cocaine, handling quantities ranging from ounces to kilograms, in Delray Beach, Florida. It should be known KNAPP was identified by the CS from a recent photograph obtained from law enforcement databases.

On June 25, 2024, agents from the DEA West Palm Beach District Office and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) conducted an undercover buy walk operation wherein the CS introduced an undercover agent to KNAPP, who purchased an ounce of cocaine. During the operation, an undercover agent was equipped with covert recording devices, which captured both audio and video recordings of KNAPP. Those covert recordings were downloaded onto a CD and later submitted in the DEA West Palm Beach District Office.
Before and after the operation, the UC conducted a search of the confidential source’s person and vehicle, confirming the absence of any illegal contraband as witnessed by a DEA Task Force Officer. At or around 1:15 p.m., the CS initiated communication with KNAPP via text. KNAPP agreed to meet the CS at the McDonald’s parking lot situated at 1220 West Linton Boulevard, Delray Beach, Florida 33444.
Once inside of the CS’ vehicle, KNAPP provided a clear plastic bag which contained an ounce of cocaine to the UC in exchange for $1,000. Initially, the UC handed KNAPP $900, with KNAPP clarifying the total amount to be $1,000 for the cocaine. The UC then handed KNAPP an additional $100 dollars. Discussions ensued regarding future transactions, with KNAPP offering discounted rates for larger purchases, specifically $850 per ounce if four ounces were bought. KNAPP also mentioned his capacity to supply kilogram quantities of cocaine, noting his source of supply lives in Boynton Beach. Ultimately, the UC and KNAPP agreed to conduct larger cocaine transactions in the near future.”
Miles Knapp was arrested several months later, booked into the Palm Beach County Jail, and released on bond. He entered a guilty plea earlier this week and was re-booked into jail for a 90-day sentence. Originally charged with cocaine trafficking, he ended up pleading guilty to cocaine “sale” which is a lesser offense.

Our justice system is so broken. 90 days for selling drugs is beyond a joke.
You’re right it should be way longer.
