Golf Cart or Car?
DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Paramedics Thursday morning rushed to the parking lot of the clubhouse at Mizner Country Club in Delray Beach for a woman apparently struck by a vehicle. The woman, believed to be in her 50s or 60s, was found lying on the ground.
According to sources familiar with the rescue response, the woman was struck by a vehicle traveling approximately 5 mph. It was not immediately clear if she was struck by a car or a golf cart. It was also unclear if the driver of the vehicle that allegedly struck her remained on the scene. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the request fo assistance.
The woman was transported to Delray Medical Center. Witnesses say she was in significant pain and had trouble moving. We are awaiting specifics from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office regarding the incident, whether a driver was at fault or if the woman was walking in an area where she was not expected to be.
