Alexa Perry of Polo Gardens Drive in Wellington is the suspect — and remains incarcerated on Monday.

According to a police report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, a woman was driving near the Liberty Gas Station at 1601 South Federal Highway in Boynton Beach around 6:40 p.m. on July 11th when a woman — standing on a nearby sidewalk — started throwing rocks at her vehicle. The woman had never seen the rock-thrower before so pulled into the gas station to confront her. That’s when the alleged rock thrower — later identified as Alexa Perry — told the victim that she was calling the police. The victim did as well, then followed Perry as she apparently made her way into the Publix Shopping Center in the area of 501 SE 18th Avenue.

Police verified the damage to the victim’s car and questioned Perry who claimed she hadn’t thrown anything at anyone. Officers didn’t buy the story. Wrote the arresting officer: “Alexa Perry did, wantonly or maliciously, throw a missile or hurl or project a stone or other hard substance which would produce death or great bodily harm at, within, or into a vehicle which was being used or occupied by (the victim).”

Perry was arrested and booked into jail where she remains held on $4,000 bond on charges related to the rock throwing. Palm Beach County property records indicate that she does not live in a glass house.
