DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Delray Beach woman is facing a charge of “aggravated battery with a deadly weapon” after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend during an argument in a home in the West Delray Beach community of Vizcaya.

BocaNewsNow.com reviewed the arrest report which alleges that Carri Comerio-Casciato stabbed her boyfriend in his hand with what is described as a “long white knife.” The boyfriend allegedly sustained facial injuries as well. The boyfriend told police that the two of them were engaged in an argument when she armed herself and attacked.

But Carri Comerio-Casciato tells a different story. She says she was sleeping in bed when the boyfriend jumped on top of her, choked her, and pulled her hair.

Deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office determined that Comerio-Casciato, 56, committed a crime and took her into custody. She was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and later released after posting $5,000 bond. She’s been ordered to stay away from the boyfriend. A court date is pending.
