So Many Kings Point Residents Jailed… Two in 48 Hours…

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — For the second time in two days, police have arrested a resident of the Kings Point senior living community in Delray Beach. It is the 78th arrest since 2023, the 58th since 2024, and the 28th this year.
Jailed this time: Jeremy Mankoff. At 38, Mankoff is significantly younger than the traditional resident of a 55+ community. It was not immediately clear why he is living in the Flanders N section of the senior living center.
Mankoff is charged with three counts of making a false report regarding child abuse. It’s not known what his relationship is to the person he claimed was being abused or what abuse he claimed was taking place. Mankoff was arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and booked into jail Friday. He was released several hours later on $5,000 bond.
Mankoff joins the very long list of Kings Point Delray Beach residents who have been jailed over the past three years. Among those arrested — and at times, convicted: residents accused of sex crimes, battery, weapons offenses, downloading illegal images of children, DUI, domestic violence, drug crimes, and more. Unofficial records maintained by BocaNewsNow.com indicate that more residents of Kings Point Delray Beach are arrested than residents of any other senior living community in South Palm Beach County.
