City of Pompano Beach Announces 9/11 Memorial Plans

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The City of Pompano Beach Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with Pompano Beach Fire Rescue, Broward Sheriff’s Office, and the Pompano Beach Historical Society, invites the public to a noble evening of remembrance honoring the victims and heroes of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. 

The ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Founders Park, located at 215 NE 4th Street. It is free and open to the community.
