PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A woman with a Wisconsin drivers license told a deputy with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office that she had been drinking “Bellinis” before driving southbound in the northbound lanes of Seminole Pratt Whitney Road. Now, Lisa Tomachek of Mount Pleasant Wisconsin is facing a DUI charge.
According to a police report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, a PBSO deputy was responding to call early on the morning of August 25th when he witnessed the silver BMW drive the wrong way. The deputy immediately flipped around and pursued the woman later identified as Lisa Marie Tomachek, who allegedly told the deputy that she had no idea she was driving in the wrong direction.
”I informed the driver that she was being stopped for traveling south in the northbound lanes,” wrote the Deputy. “She stated that she did not know she done that. I asked the driver if she been drinking and she stated that she had been drinking Bellinis. She described them as champagne and peach flavor.”

The Deputy said Tomachek, 61, had a strong odor of alcohol. She allegedly claimed that she was leaving the Avenir neighborhood and looking for Northlake Boulevard. “Let it be known,” wrote the Deputy, “that the neighborhood of Avenir is off of Northlake Boulevard.”
Tomachek, according to police, had issues completing field sobriety exercises, then provided a breath sample that registered .124 and .123. The legal limit in Florida is .08. Tomachek was arrested, charged with DUI, and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail. She was later released pending a September 5th court date.
