Public Meeting Set For Next Week…

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Following occasional arrests of people misusing the 911 system in Palm Beach County, the Countywide Community Revitalization Team is holding a public meeting next week to talk about 911.
CCRT officials explained in a statement to BocaNewsNow.com, “the meeting will feature a presentation by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) Communications 9-1-1 Public Education Team. The team, made up of experienced 9-1-1 professionals, provides community education on the proper use of emergency services. They regularly engage with both children and adults through school visits, community events and guided tours of the Communications Centers.
Their presentations use age-appropriate tools—from activity books for young audiences to technology-focused insights for adults—to raise awareness about how 9-1-1 works and when to use it. A core message of their outreach is the essential partnership between call center personnel and field units in delivering prompt and effective emergency services.”
Here’s how to access the meeting on September 9th starting at 10 a.m:
The meeting will be in person at the Vista Center Hearing Room 1E-60, 2300 N. Jog Rd, West Palm Beach. For added convenience, the meeting will also be accessible virtually and via conference call.
