>>Detectives are investigating vandalism after graffiti was discovered on two separate occasions on City of Deerfield Beach properties. Investigators believe the two incidents are connected.
On Friday, Aug. 8, Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies in the Deerfield Beach district noticed what appeared to be freshly painted graffiti on the Community Redevelopment Agency’s (CRA) portable office building located at 1601 E. Hillsboro Blvd. Then on Tuesday, Aug. 26, Deerfield Beach Parks and Recreation employees spotted graffiti on the Sullivan Park Drawbridge located at 1741 Riverview Rd.
According to detectives, the graffiti on the bridge was consistent with matching graffiti on the CRA building.
