UPDATE at 3:21 p.m. — Southbound traffic is still crawling by in one lane. Northbound traffic is very slow near the scene.

UPDATE at 2:23 p.m. — Multiple people are injured but it appears none critically. The scene is a mess, in part due to construction in the area. One lane is squeezing by but very slowly. We will update as needed, but expect this to continue throughout the afternoon.

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A truck crash on the southbound Florida Turnpike, just north of Boynton Beach Boulevard, has completely shut the southbound Turnpike as of 2 p.m.

FDOT cameras monitored by BocaNewsNow.com show two trucks and several cars involved in the crash on a narrow section of the roadway. Fire Rescue has been called to the scene but is not yet there. It appears they will have to access the scene from the northbound lanes — expect delays northbound to mount.
