DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A resident of Kings Point in Delray Beach is dead following a car crash that police say he caused.
Tudor Ticiu, 76, of Brittany G in Kings Point, was traveling southbound on Jog Road within the left turning lane near the Publix shopping center at Jog and Linton on August 26th. He allegedly turned left, trying to enter the parking lot for the shopping center. He didn’t realize, however, that there was a car heading northbound in the lane he was about to cross over.
As Ticiu turned left, the car in the northbound lane slammed into his 2024 GMC Terrain. The driver of that vehicle was taken to Delray Medical Center for minor injuries.
Ticiu, however, was critically injured. He was transported to Delray Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on September 13th.
