UPDATE 6:30 a.m 09-19-2025: Stella has been found and is safe, according to police.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A 13-year-old girl from Coconut Creek is missing Thursday morning and a statewide alert is in effect as of 5:15 a.m. Stella Mitchell, seen in the photo above, was reported missing by the Coconut Creek Police Department.

This is the official text of the alert issued by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to all law enforcement agencies statewide: “A Florida MISSING CHILD Alert has been issued for Stella Mitchell, last seen in the area of the 6900th block of Northwest 43rd Terrace in Coconut Creek, Florida, who was last seen wearing a black tank top, black, red, and white spandex bell bottom pants, and black, red, and white Jordan high tops. Stella has a nose ring in each nostril and scars on the inside of both arms.”

Stella is described as a white female with black hair, hazel eyes, 5’4” tall and weighing 110 pounds.
