PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A man slammed into a guard house, then ran through a community with a weapon. Police captured the man, confiscated the weapon, and later found a cache of weapons in his home.

The Rivera Beach Police Department tells BocaNewsNow.com that Keanu Kristopher Montaque, 27, was “Baker Acted” after the Thursday night incident.

“At 5:57 p.m. September 18, several calls to 911 reported a car crashed into a house and the driver had a gun and was threatening to “kill everyone and himself.” The crash occurred at 233 W. 14 St. and officers located the man, Keanu Kristopher Montaque,at his home in the 1600 block of Avenue F,” said police. “Montaque was quickly taken into custody and Baker Acted”

Officers recovered a total of 14 guns and ammunition that were taken for safekeeping pending the Risk Protection Order. Montaque was taken to HCA Florida JFK North Hospital for evaluation.
