BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A new theater company is about to debut in South Palm Beach County with a mission to “celebrate the artistic excellence of both American and British Theater.” Its name: “Bridge Across The Pond Theater.”
Local attorney Daniel R. Levine is a founder and told BocaNewsNow.com that the company will produce “compelling and thought-provoking performances that honor classic works, champion new voices, and bridge cultural divides, enriching the lives of our audiences and contributing to the global theatrical landscape.”
The first show: the debut production of “The Price” by legendary American playwright Arthur Miller. The production is in collaboration with Barclay Performing Arts and the Find Your Voice Foundation.
From the official announcement: “In The Price, Victor Franz (Dan Levine) is a subtle and disturbing study of a repressed, middle-aged man suffering the cumulative effects of years of sublimated anger. Played against the frustrations of Esther Franz, his long-suffering wife (Alexis Mottesheard), and the passive-aggressive revelations of Walter Franz, his brother (Rhett Pennell), a painfully familiar tale of sibling rivalry and duty unfolds. Along the way comes Gregory Solomon (Karl Zoisl), a used furniture dealer and outsider, whose presence throws the simmering emotions into high contrast, and also provides better, solid belly laughs than you may have any reason to expect from one of Mr. Miller’s plays.”
