Another Week Of Rudeness In Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton. Self Absorption Hits An All Time Chai!

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Anyone who has flown Delta Airlines (NYSE:DAL) recently knows that the airline is a shadow of its former self — a once pristine flying experience that has become the Carnival Cruise Lines of the air. One of the problems: a complete and total disregard for DOT rules that require animals to remain in carriers under seats. Years after the Emotional Support Animal scam was federally stopped, we still have people bringing their pets on planes and letting them fly like humans — often with flight attendants who can’t be bothered to enforce the rules. The very blonde human attached to this dog — literally with a hat that features the Hebrew letter “Chai” followed by the word “Maintenance” — apparently felt it was fine to have her dog slobber on the first class seat while she sipped Mimosas on an 80 minute flight Saturday morning from ATL to PBI. Maybe wear hats that are a little less on point.

Let’s land now at Sixty Vines, the restaurant at 5050 Town Center Boulevard that is frequently cited by health officials. That’s where our tipster saw this guy with a dog at the bar. It raises so many questions, but we’ll just go with two: why does this guy have a dog at the bar, and why did no one who works at Sixty Vines tell him to leave?

To Dunkin Donuts at Yamato Road and U.S. 441. If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a dozen times: this is disgusting. We’re sad that we don’t have a frontal view of this gross woman who apparently thought it was fine to have her dog do what it’s doing, but we’re sure some of you know who she is. We also are sure that many of you will now skip this Dunkin Donuts location since it’s obviously not clean or free of animal paw disgustingness.

To Bedner’s in Delray Beach and a dog in a supermarket. Unless that’s a trained service animal providing a vital function, this picture would suggest that a law is being broken. And we’re not talking about black socks with blue slip-ons.

The problems at Boca Raton Town Center Mall continue, with more people walking their dogs in what was once a high class shopping center. Now the property, owned by Simon Property Group (NYSE:SPG), is often a gross dog park, full of dog poop and other things left behind. (We don’t know if this dog pooped. We assume it did and does at some point, just not necessarily in the mall. See our previous coverage of poop at the mall).

Like a top 40 radio station in the 80s, it’s a double shot of dog at the mall. We stay at the mall for this Starbuck’s loving dog ass displaying couple. Nothing says high class more than an image like this from the mall. Simon Property Group: we may not be a financial analyst, but it’s really difficulty to believe that your stock isn’t doing better. You are a classy company.

OH MY, Let’s Go Dog Crazy! We’ll stay at Boca Raton Town Center Mall for one more. This is at the Laderach Chocolate Shop. Aside from the general grossness of bringing your dog to the mall, isn’t there a thing about dogs dying after eating chocolate? We’re just wondering.

The new Publix at Boca Greens, on U.S. 441 near Yamato Road, is nice. It has big signs that remind customers that pets are not allowed inside. So we wonder if this woman has a reading problem, or if that dog is truly a legitimate service animal. We’re sure that Publix employee is telling her to take her dog outside.

We head now to another Publix where this woman apparently couldn’t go to Publix at 8210 Glades Road without her animal. Just in case anyone forgot, this is what the signs look like at Publix. You know, the signs that remind shoppers that they need to have lives and either go to the store without Fido, or bring Fido and use curbside pickup.

The dog reporting makes us hungry, so let’s head into The Habit in east Delray Beach for a burger. Surely that’s a dog-free restaurant…

…Except it’s apparently not. The Habit is where this man was seen with a dog inside. Dogs are not allowed in restaurants in Florida, and it’s a crime to lie about your dog’s training. For that reminder, we turn to our friends at La Bamba on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach.

We’ll continue with our bad parking photos next week, and we are adding a new category: people driving golf carts poorly with kids on board. If those kids are sitting on laps. If they are dangling from the golf cart. If they are doing things they shouldn’t be doing, we want to see images or video. Don’t get hurt — or in a fight — capturing the images, but we want to see what many are complaining about. Golf carts are becoming a major problem in Boca, Delray, and Boynton — especially in communities where there are no golf courses. Send us your images.
And now for this week’s winner: It was another close one, but our judges decided that it has to be the Dog-Ass-Starbuck’s-Loving-Oblivious-To-The-World couple seen in Boca Raton Town Center Mall, a Simon Property Group (NYSE:SPG) property.

Yes, once a jewel in the crown of the huge mall ownership group Simon Properties, Boca Raton Town Center Mall continues its spiral into irrelevance — due in large part to scene like this. Couple who loves their dog’s butt as much as an overpriced cold drink, we award you this week’s Boca Rudeton award! It’s this beautiful trophy! We’ll leave on the public sofa meant for humans right there at the entrance to the mall.

We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send your submissions to us using the menu buttons above. I just have a question. Isn’t the Boca Rudeton being published every Sunday anymore? I don’t see it as often as I use to and enjoy it very much.
