
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A multi-car crash Sunday evening left one person dead and two people hospitalized following the incident on Yamato Road near Lakeridge Boulevard. Marina Villalobos of Ridewood, NY was pronounced dead a short time after impact.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, “the driver of a Hyundai Sonata was traveling westbound on Yamato Road in the left turn lane at the intersection with Lakeridge Boulevard (which is just east of 441). The driver of a Toyota Corolla was traveling eastbound on Yamato in the outside lane approaching the intersection with Lakeridge Boulevard. The driver of the Sonata turned left, into the path of the Corolla. The front of the Corolla impacted the passenger’s side corner of the Sonata.”
All three people in the two vehicles were transported to Delray Medical Center where Villalobos was pronounced dead. She was the passenger in the Hyundai that police say cut in front of the Corolla. Villalobos was 84 years old. She was being driven by Miguel Ulloa of Boca Raton.
No charges have been filed. The investigation continues.
