Double Shooting Leaves One Man Dead In Royal Palm Beach

ROYAL PALM BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — One man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting late Tuesday afternoon, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. The shooting happened shortly before 5 p.m. in the 100 block of Starling Avenue.

Responding deputies located two vehicles at the scene, one in the roadway and the other along the swale. An adult male was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second adult male was found with gunshot wounds. The injured man was taken to a local hospital; his condition was not immediately known.

Detectives with the Violent Crimes Division are investigating the incident as a homicide. In a news release, the sheriff’s office stated that they believe all individuals involved have been accounted for and that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
