
UPDATE — Boca Raton Fire Rescue provided us with this official update Wednesday afternoon: “Boca Raton Fire Rescue responded out to a structure fire received at about 08:07 this morning on Spanish River BLVD. About 10 BRFD units responded to the scene and confirmed it as a working fire. The commercial fire is out at this time and is under investigation.

A fire inspector has been called to investigate the cause of the fire. As to what businesses have been affected is still undetermined as the extend of damage is yet to be determined. The business the fire started in or was called about was closed when the fire was called in. As of now, no injuries were reported to any citizens or Firefighters.”

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Boca Raton Fire Rescue is on the scene of an active building fire at 4070 North Dixie Highway. That is a strip shopping center with an auto parts store, a post office, and a few smaller businesses.
Firefighters were sent to the scene around 8:09 this morning for the report of smoke rising from the building. First responders confirmed the smoke and immediately began to investigate and attack the fire.
At least 14 fire fighting units were sent to the scene. There are no reports of injuries. Expect traffic delays in the area throughout the morning.
There is no immediate information about the possible cause of the fire. Check back for updates later in the day. 4070 North Dixie is just north of Spanish River Boulevard.
