BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A major internet issue Monday morning is blocking customer access to sites like Delta.com, Ring, Blink, Chime, SnapChat, Reddit, Roku, Verizon, Life360, TMobile, Zoom, Lyft, and more.
Some sort of failure involving Amazon Web Services infrastructure — the backbone of a huge number of websites worldwide — started causing problems around 2 a.m. eastern time. The problems continue just before 7 a.m.
There are reports of travelers having problems checking in for Delta and other airlines. There are reports of Ring alarm systems unable to deactivate. Many websites are inaccessible or extremely slow. Starbucks is also affected — a problem for many expecting to pre-order their pre-work drinks.
Downdetector.com is a great place to check the status of the website you may be trying to access, or to report problems that you are experiencing. Amazon reports that its systems are slowly returning to normal, but it’s unclear how long the situation will continue.
