PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County Community Services Department (CSD) is inviting eligible organizations to apply for a share of Opioid Settlement Funds for the 2026 fiscal year. The county is seeking proposals for programs and services that address the opioid crisis by stabilizing clients and advancing a recovery-oriented system of care.
According to the county’s Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), the goal is to fund strategies that help build “resilient and recovery-ready individuals and communities.” Funding will be distributed across several categories, including Community Education and Engagement, Resilient and Recovery Ready Communities, Family Support, and Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT). All programs must also include a plan for continuous quality improvement.
The NOFO is now available, and organizations may submit proposals for more than one service or program. The deadline for all submissions is 12 p.m., or noon, on Monday, Nov. 10, 2025.
An information guide and a frequently asked questions document can be found on the county’s website at https://discover.pbcgov.org/communityservices/financiallyassisted/Pages/RFP.aspx. Organizations must create a vendor account to apply at https://pbcvssp.co.palm-beach.fl.us/webapp/vssp/AltSelfService. Questions about the funding opportunity can be directed to CSD-FAARFP@PBC.GOV.
