LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. — A man is dead and a woman was hospitalized after a shooting Saturday evening in Lake Worth Beach, authorities said. The incident occurred at approximately 7:10 p.m. in the 1700 block of Tropical Drive.
When deputies arrived, they found two adult victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to officials. The female victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division have responded to investigate the shooting as a homicide. A motive for the incident remains unknown. Authorities have not released any information regarding a potential suspect.
