BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Boca Bridges man taken into custody during an FBI raid several months is now out of federal detention. Cemhan “Jimmy” Biricik was released on bond days ago. The owner of a multi-million dollar home in Boca Bridges — and an airplane — Biricik is prohibited from entering an airport unless its to fly to Michigan where the case against him is filed.

Biricik, as BocaNewsNow.com was first to report shortly after a raid on his home, is charged with more than 50 counts of healthcare fraud. Biricik is accused of running a bogus COVID-19 testing business for which he bilked Medicare and Medicaid out of more than $50 million. Read our initial reporting here. As part of his bond condition, Biricik is prohibited from speaking with anyone related to the alleged fraud. A court filing says that includes family members.

Cemhan Biricik is considered a flight risk by federal prosecutors. A judge initially ordered that he remain held in a federal detention facility until trial. The order was lifted days ago. Biricik’s history is apparently concerning to those prosecuting the case. He declared bankruptcy in 2019 but purchased a $4.5M home in Boca Bridges — and a plane — just a few years later. Boca Bridges is located north of Clint Moore Road, in between Lyons Road and U.S. 441.
