Flights Axed At FLL and MIA. Delayed at PBI.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Flight cancelations and delays are now mounting at area airports as the government shutdown continues. As of 9:30 a.m. Friday, 19 flights have been canceled at FLL, with seven JetBlue flights axed, four Southwest flights, four United flights, two Delta flights, and one American Airlines flights. A total of 112 flights at FLL are delayed.
At Miami International Airport, 26 flights have been canceled as of 9:30 a.m. Twelve Envoy Air flights are not flying, four Frontier, four American Airlines, two United flights, two Southwest flights, and two Delta Airlines flights. A total of 145 flights are delayed at MIA.
The news is slightly better at Palm Beach International Airport, were two American Airlines flights are canceled as of 4 p.m. and 59 flights from American, alleging, Air Canada, Bahamasair, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, JSX, Southwest, United, and Avelo are delayed.
Regardless of airport, airlines are strongly encouraging you to check with them before heading to any airport for travel. The government shutdown is leading to delays and cancelations nationwide, and the situation is expected to worsen over the next several days.
