The National Weather Service tells BocaNewsNow.com to expect picture-perfect conditions today, with sunny skies and a high temperature near 88 degrees. Winds will be light and variable before shifting to the southeast at 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
The warmth continues tonight under mostly clear skies, with a low dropping only to around 72 degrees. Sunday will be another hot day, mostly sunny with a high again pushing 88. However, a slight 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms is possible after 1 p.m. as the atmosphere begins to change. Sunday night will remain mild and partly cloudy, with a low around 71.
Monday marks the arrival of a strong cold front. While the high temperature is forecast to reach 79 degrees, it will be noticeably windier. A northwest wind will pick up, blowing 8 to 15 mph, with gusts potentially reaching 25 mph. The real change arrives Monday night when temperatures are expected to plummet to a chilly low of around 48 degrees, accompanied by gusts as high as 29 mph.
Get the jackets ready for Veterans Day. Tuesday will be breezy and much cooler, with a high struggling to reach 69 degrees under partly sunny skies. A brisk north wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph, will make it feel even cooler. The chill begins to ease slightly Tuesday night, which will be mostly cloudy with a low near 60.
The rest of the week signals a gradual return to more seasonal temperatures. Wednesday will be partly sunny with a high near 76. Thursday follows with a high near 79, before the work week ends on Friday with mostly sunny skies and a high climbing back to around 81 degrees.
