Murray Died In 2021. Now The Family Is Fighting in Palm Beach County Circuit Court.

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A lawsuit filed in Palm Beach County Circuit Court alleges that a dispute over a Boynton Beach condominium has escalated into a breach of contract claim, pitting relatives against each other following a death in the family. The suit centers on a property in the Coral Cove Condominium development, located in the 5700 block of Gemstone Court, which was part of an estate pending in New York.
According to the complaint, the Lauren Reisner entered into an agreement on or about May 10, 2021, to purchase all rights to the condominium from three relatives for a total of $150,000. The suit claims the plaintiff paid the full amount as agreed, sending $50,000 to each of the three family members. The property belonged to the Estate of Murray D. Reisner, who passed away in January 2021.
Despite the alleged agreement and payment, the lawsuit contends the defendants—David Reisner, Daniel Reisner, and Paul Reisner—”failed and/or refused to cooperate” with the legal steps necessary to transfer the property. The complaint states the defendants would not cooperate in the ancillary estate proceedings in Florida or execute the deeds required to finalize the sale, placing them in breach of the contract.
The lawsuit is seeking “specific performance,” which would legally compel the defendants to honor the agreement and turn over the condominium. In the alternative, the suit asks for damages for breach of contract, demanding a return of the $150,000 paid, plus an additional $300,000 in punitive damages, along with attorney’s fees. All parties named in the suit, including the plaintiff and individual defendants, are listed as residents of New York.
