BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Another Seven Bridges Delray Beach resident is facing criminal charges Saturday morning. Sanjeet Dass of Pavilion Way is in the Plam Beach County Jail as of 9:30 a.m., held on $2000 bond. He was taken into custody late Friday night.

According to information obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, Dass was arrested by Palm Beach Gardens Police. They say he was excessively speeding in a 2026 black BMW SUV. Officers allegedly believed he was under the influence of something so required him to submit to a breath alcohol test. That, according to police, resulted in breath samples above .15. Not only is that nearly two times the legal limit, it triggers “enhanced” DUI charges under Florida law.

Dass was taken into custody and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 2:09 a.m. on the charges of “DUI Unlawful Blood Alcohol — .15 or higher…,” and “DUI Unlawful Blood Alcohol, DUI Breath alcohol .08 or more per 210L.” Dass appeared in front of a judge early Saturday and entered a “not guilty” plea. Probable cause, however, was determined and the case continues. He is prohibited from possessing alcohol once he is released.
