BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Several Florida residents became multi-millionaires in July after winning big on Florida Lottery Scratch-Off tickets. The month’s biggest winner was Ramon Cabo, 68, of Lakewood Ranch, who claimed the top prize of $10,000 a week for life. Cabo, who purchased his $20 ticket at a Bradenton Walmart, chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $7,752,000.
Another “for life” prize went to Shuangjie Fan, 31, of Wellington. Fan won $5,000 a week for life from a $10 Scratch-Off ticket purchased at a Wellington Marathon. Like Cabo, Fan opted for the lump-sum payout, taking home $3,897,000. He claimed his prize on July 2 at the Lottery’s West Palm Beach District Office.
The winning streak continued in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Juan Bonilla, 48, of Miami, claimed a $2 million top prize from the SILVER STREAK Scratch-Off game. He bought his $10 ticket at an Exprezo in Miami and chose a lump-sum payment of $1,195,000. Tricia Richardson Roberts, 46, of Lauderhill, won $1,000 a week for life from a $2 ticket purchased at a Publix in Plantation, opting for a $779,200 payout.
All four winners chose to receive their prizes as single, one-time payments rather than the advertised annuity. The winning tickets came from games ranging in price from $2 to $20. The Florida Lottery provided the names of winners and their city of residences to BocaNewsNow.com. The information is public record after 90 days.
