There is no school today for public school students in Palm Beach County.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A reminder to parents and guardians: there is no school today, November 11th, for public school students in the Palm Beach County School District.

The school district is closed to students for the Veterans Day holiday. Schools, however, are open for teacher planning and other administrative functions. The school district offices are also open as normal.

School resumes on Wednesday and continues for another eight days until it closes again, this time for the Thanksgiving holiday. Thanksgiving vacation runs from November 24th through November 28th. School then resumes until December 22nd — the start of winter break. That continues until January 6th.

Many private schools in the area are open today.
